December 11-14, 2017
The second day of our Pine Ridge road trip, generously funded by our Halliburton STEM Pathways grant. We saw over 700 students, so it’s good that we had nearly 30 people helping out. We had Little Shop staff and interns, College of Natural Science Outreach Scholars, staff and students from Oglala Lakota College, and our friends from Generations Indigenous Ways. Each student (and all of the teachers and staff at the school) took home a giveaway bag with Halliburton rainbow glasses, buzzing magnets, a hand lens, and sunburn beads. What a great way for the school to wrap up the last day before their fall break and for the Colorado State University folks to start our fall break!
