LSOP in Action: Native American Community Academy
As part of our Spring Break outreach tour, the Little Shop of Physics visited the Native American Community Academy (NACA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Working alongside students from NACA, Central New Mexico Community College, and College and Career High School, our Colorado State University student interns shared hands-on science experiences designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in STEM.
For many of our interns, the visit was an opportunity not only to share physics but also to learn from the students, educators, and communities they met along the way. The experience reflects the Little Shop of Physics’ commitment to building lasting partnerships and making science accessible to everyone.
We are grateful to the students, teachers, and staff at NACA for welcoming us into their community, and to the Halliburton Foundation for making this outreach possible.
