Last fall, Little Shop of Physics was honored to participate in the annual Powwow hosted by the CSU chapter of AISES. This event brought together students, families, and community members from across the region to celebrate Indigenous culture, community, and education.

During the Powwow, the Little Shop of Physics team set up a collection of hands-on science activities for participants of all ages. Visitors explored light, sound, electricity, and motion through interactive experiments designed to be fun, welcoming, and accessible to everyone. Our goal was to create a space where curiosity could thrive and where learners could see themselves as scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers.

We are grateful to the CSU AISES community for inviting us to be part of this special event, and we are proud to support opportunities that bring science outreach into spaces that celebrate culture, connection, and belonging.
