LSOP in Action: Red Mesa School
In March 2025, the Little Shop of Physics team traveled to Red Mesa School in Teec Nos Pos, Arizona—located on the Navajo Nation—for an unforgettable day of hands-on science exploration.
We brought our signature blend of curiosity, creativity, and connection to students of all ages, sparking excitement with interactive experiments and collaborative learning. From color-changing materials to the physics of light and motion, the day was packed with energy, discovery, and joy.
This trip was part of our ongoing commitment to making science accessible, inclusive, and culturally relevant for all communities. For many of our student interns, it was their first time traveling on an outreach trip—an experience that left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
