Denver Broncos Tackle STEM

 In Little Shop News

The Little Shop of Physics has teamed up with the Denver Broncos and Arrow Electronics as part of the Broncos Tackle STEM Program. The goal is to give kids a positive learning experience in STEM: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

So far we’ve been to two events, one at the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver as part of their Mad Scientist Night and the other with the Denver Broncos Junior Cheerleaders at Sports Authority Field. In total over 350 young scientists had a fun time exploring our 100+ experiments in our Light Room and Dark Room. They were also treated to a special interactive football themed science demonstration in which foam footballs were altered to make them either spin better or worse. Also, every student received a Denver Broncos Science-at-home Kit containing Bernoulli pipes, air bags, talking strips and color changing bracelets.

We are excited to work with such enthusiastic folks and looking forward to continuing to help the Denver Broncos Tackle STEM!
