In the CSU Physics Teaching Labs: December 15-18

 In Little Shop News

Twice a year, the Little Shop of Physics travels across campus to the Physics Department and sets up 150 hands-on science experiments in the teaching labs. For one week, every introductory physics student interacts with LSOP as part of their regular weekly lab session. This is their last lab of the semester, and a fun way to help review and synthesize concepts in preparation for their final exams.

The following week, visiting groups from local schools, clubs, and homeschool groups come to the labs to do some science. Introductory physics student volunteers and the LSOP Crew help to organize and facilitate the experience and answer questions about science and college in general. This semester, approximately 700 students from over 10 different groups came to experience Little Shop of Physics. For many of the students, this was their first time on a college campus.
