Each year, we host workshops ranging from 1 hour to 1 week for 200-500 K-12 educators. Mostly, these are informal workshops as part of school visits, or other work that we are doing.

Teaching about weather and climate is one of our staples.

We are regular presenters at local, regional, and national meetings as well.

Examples in 2016:

  • Colorado Springs Science Hub (60 attendees): The Rainbow and Beyond
  • Colorado Science Conference (50 attendees): Using Kinesthetic Activities to Teach Abstract Concepts
  • American Association of Physics Teachers (10 attendees): Activities for Teaching about Weather and Climate
