The Little Shop Open House has been the largest event that happens on campus each year for many years. We typically attract 6,000-8,000 visitors from all over the region.
A presentation during the 2106 Open House gives a sense of the scale; this was one of 5 main rooms in operation, plus as many rooms with programs from CSU partners.
The 2016 Open House was special for many reasons. We had special visitors from upstate New York—the Physics Bus—and from as far away as Norway—the Science Circus—plus over 100 interns and volunteers from past years.
Many of the Physics Bus experiment stations were modeled on projects from the Little Shop.
