Flash Science: Chips in the Microwave

The electric fields inside of a microwave cause sparks, heat, and even shrinks a bag of chips!

Note: In the video, Kenn refers to mylar on the inside… It’s really the layer of aluminum that does the work.

1 Microwave oven
1 Small bag of chips (must have metallized plastic bag)
